breaking down ex machina

it's hard to completely discern/judge the condition and quality of these figures, but from the breakdown it truly does seem that the body is fitted over with moulded-armor, with the chest and torso separate parts. while the arms itself is no doubt moulded as well - the quality of make and paint-apps again is hard to discern, given that these images may have been taken just for reference rather than "glamor-pics", but then again maybe im over-compensating for a coupla figures i would LIKE TO LIKE, and not be too disappointed too soon? (seems to be happening a little too often these days hhhmmm) ... well, better "soon" than "too little too late", becoz in the end, these are NOT "moderately-priced" figures, IMHO ... but still looks cool to me! LOL
frankly, if it's (salvagable) kitbash parts we're looking at, then (to me) the weapons "win" handsdown, and mayhap would be the harder to find loose (but who'll be insane enough to wanna part-out these two??? LOL) ... and if we are talking about "value" - then perhaps Deunan's headsculpt would the most "valuable", with the rest of the removable gloved-arms, boots and shin/elbow-guards, while the main body may still be bashable into other squad-members, just change heads! LOL
Briaeros would be much harder, given his recognizable cybord-head and large body-form, even if someone were to extract the body armour from him and fit on a regular 12"-er body with SWAT-overalls as base (to bash the rest of ESWAT, 'natch)... but then again, who's gonna go snip up a US$180-figure? ... i may be insane, but i ain't rich, yo! *LOL*
