"Venusdea" is a "art pop" label by Barbara Canepa and they have a new art toy release scheduled for a November 2009-release ~ with MEKANEKO by Matteo De Longis.
Simultaneously a "pet", a "robot" and a "toy" ~ currently no product description is revealed, except for this teaser-image of Mekaneko grabbing at'ya!

I first saw these guys in the summer at Wonder Festival in Tokyo.
