Clear Vision Mk2 (Proto Blank) Mini Munny by Cris Rose / CR-Mailing List

Cris Rose share with us black and white snaps of the blank prototype of his latest creation: Clear Vision Mk2! Part resin / part vinyl Mini-Munny, CV Mk2 stands 4.5 inches tall, the figure features articulation of a regular Mini Munny, including at the neck! The first run will be made available soon. Cris-says: The initial format of the Newsletters will be quite simple - when i have something to tell you about, i will send one out! This could be the announcement of a new show or showpiece, a new figure being released as a limited run or a one off custom that's available - but for the majority of cases each email will only contain information about one thing. Fat Cap Toy by Michael Lau for Gardener 10th Exhibition @ NPC Beijing

Courtesy of HypeBeast, we have a chance to see what toy-goodies Mchael Lau has in store for fans in his upcoming Gardener 10th Exhibition Beijing in NPC Beijing, China [blogged!

CLICK THRU for more peeps of the new 6-inch all-red (with gold accent) Chinese New Year version of FAT CAP (NPC Beijing Store version), as well as a "mini-version" (*gasp*). I noticed an additional "yellow box" in the pics, which may well be an as-yet-revealed figure (inspired by the Year of the Tiger?).

HypeBeast also reports that there will be 109 x t-shirts (with designs) based on Michael's "classic" 109 Gardener 1/6-figures, with less than 10 shirts of each style will be available! (Better get your shirt-sizes ready, folks!)

Gardener 10th Exhibition Beijing will launch February 6th, 2010 from 3pm–5pm at NPC Beijing with an after party from 9:30 pm till late at Club VJCS.

北京聚會: Beijing Gathering by ThreeA Toys @ Sanlitun Village, China (June 25)

ThreeA Toys presented their first art show in 2009 with HK Venture [tagged] and in 2010, the venue of choice is Beijing, China! Scheduled for a Friday June 25th launch is 北京聚會 ("běi jīng jù huì") literally translated to "Beijing Gathering" @ Sanlitun Village (which features "19 separate buildings, interspersed with gardens, courtyards, and twisting alleys"). Threezero, ThreeA and HongKong's MiLK Magazine share in the event's top-billing.

On show no doubt will be artworks galore, as well as exclusive toys (both free and on sale). Also available would be the much-touted fibreglass 1:1 Square, of which 20 will be made (Ashley Wood has already scored for himself 3 Squares in advance, and 3 already pre-sold). "Reservations" are now also open for Ghost Hunter Square" (which is not a part of WWR, but a precursor to "something new"). US$800 will score you a 1:1 Square (provided they are not already spoken for by time of this post!). And from the forum, seems there might even be a Large Martin (1:1 scaled?) waiting in the wings, for photo-ops (well, threezero did make a 1:1 Bramble for HK Venture, so why not LM?).

The art show will run 2 weeks, with the first 3 days featuring exclusive toys, magazines, books and "other cool stuff." 北京聚會 will be open to the public.

WWRp Large Martin by ThreeA Toys To Be Unleashed Feb 19th

ThreeA Toys' 1/12th-scaled WWRp Large Martin [tagged] will be up for online-preorder this coming February 19th. Available would be WWRp LM Packs which will contain: (1) 1 x Damn Large Martin, (2) 1 x Large Martin, (3) 1 x RPG Bramble, with 4 different packs going for US$130 per pack. 3AA-folks will have a chance to snag for themselves the special NightWatch/DayWatch versions (on top of 3 x 4Packs) ~ which includes a NW Martin, DW Martin and a DIY Double Cannon Martin! More details and images are they are revealed. Feb 19th comes real quick right after Valentines' and Chinese New Year (Feb 14th, same day), so bare that in mind when you splurge, and gearup for them Martins! LOL

Project Squadt K11 Vinyl Prototypes from FERG

Vinyl Pulse has scored some sweet-snaps of FERG's K11 vinyl Squadt kombat-kanine [tagged] along with some product info: K11 measures 5" long x 4" tall, and "will come geared up with backpacks and other cut and sew gear much like the SQUADTs. If things go as planned and the toy gods smile upon K11, we should see the first drop sometime this spring." ~ More pics via VP.

TOUMA for Star Wars Galaxy Series 5 from TOPPS

Now we've seen TOUMA do Star Wars keychains [here / here], now witness original art in the form of sketches on the backs of die-cut trading cards for TOPPS' latest Star Wars Galaxy Series 5! [tagged]

Similar to the concept started in SWG Series 4, the cards now bear the form of Darth Maul and Clone Troopers, the artist sketch cards are to be utilized as chase inserts in packs! CLICK THRU for a peek at what you might want to add to your wants-lists :)

Adriean Koleric for Star Wars Galaxy Series 5 from TOPPS

Adriean Koleric aka ITEM shares with us images of his submitted artwork for TOPPS' Star Wars Galaxy 5 collectible trading card series, featuring diecut-cards in the form of Darth Maul and Clone Troopers (versus SWG4, where it was Darth Vader and Storm Troopers). Pretty apt given Adriean's Star Wars-inspired HERD solo show in 2009 [tagged].

Adriean-adds: "The main thing i'm trying to get accross was my intent to make these look weathered. I wanted them to look like a gig poster or sticker you'd see on a street corner lamp. Partially peeled off, fading, etc. I know most people will get it, but you know there's always the ones who may not."

Customs On Show @ Ganmetall Celsius Custom Show, Philippines (Jan 30)

Rotobox Vinyl Anatmica recently held their first ever custom-show in the Philippines (circa Jan 30th / Details), whereby local artists worked on their interpretations of Rotobox's own Celsius vinyl figure.
