Toy-Teaser: 3rd Sneak for Mad Battle Man Dusk Edition by Mike Sutfin x Reckless Toys

Mike Sutfin reveals the 3rd sneak-peek of his MAD BATTLE MAN (produced by Reckless Toys) seen here in it's "DUSK" Colorway, scheduled as a San Diego ComicCon exclusive release. Expect the full-reveal to debut on Toybot Studios come July 1st!

Expect each colorway release to come with a brief paragraph description; a small "chapter" with regards to the figure. Mike had also mentioned to me that; "All our color applications have meaning and correspond with a place and time in the story. The adventure starts at Dusk" (Reading that at 4am in the morning sent chills down my spine in a good way!)

Will Pico feed his family? Will Wilshire escape to live another day? Or will they both meet their demise in the clutches of the La Brea tar pits?

Toy-Release: SpankyStokes-Exclusive Obsidian Ozomahtli Drops July 1st

Dropping on July 1st @ 12noon PST is the SpankyStokes-exclusive "Obsidian" black-on-black colorway edition of Jesse Hernandez's Ozomahtli ~ with a SRP of US$90 per (excluding shipping). A "very limited run" of this 9" tall figure will be made available to order online via http://spankystokes.bigcartel.com (Previously blogged about HERE). Know that if I had the dosh I would've been primed to snag one for myself, and that's no b.s. ~ gawds but I do lurve me sum black-on-black colorway-action LOL

Video Recap of 3A Toys' Beijing Gathering

The Beijing Gathering event by ThreeA Toys ends on the first day of July. Launched June 25th the weekend priors, fans and the 3A Legion descended upon Sanlitun Village South in Beijing, China ~ and had their fill of toys and art, from exclusive releases to sculpted mechas and painted canvases ~ all courtesy of organizers 3A and their artist friends. And while I am unable to fully describe the festivities and happenings (heck I wasn't there physically, innit?), I am grateful for the opportunity to partake of the show via online images and videos. And no doubt images are popping up across the www, as folks reach the comforts and stability of their internet-connections at home! (Facebook, Twitter and even Blogspot is blocked in China, just so you folks know).

Headquarters Galerie & Boutique celebrates its 4th year anniversary this year and on July 8th, we invite you to celebrate with us the launch of Press Start!. For the occasion, some members of Toy Company will take care of your ears with current 8bit/chiptune songs and without forgetting the old school classic. We are expecting you, nobody's Game Over yet!
