Residing in the lower depths of the ocean, The Deep Coral Gordos spend
their days eating garbage thrown off boats and protecting their sunken treasures.

Brent Nolasco's GORDO sees a new colorway edition dubbed DEEP CORAL GORDO, and "a small freshly caught batch" will be made available @ New York Comic Con via myplasticheart booth #2879 for US$90 each. Brent will also be signing at the booth on Friday 3:30PM – 4:30PM and Saturday 1:00PM – 2:00PM.

Resin-Teaser: Kings Of Atlantis by Argonaut Resins

So what exactly are the KINGS OF ATLANTIS from Argonaut Resins? Hushed whispers has it as a "crucial" part of a mortal's anatomy, but confirmation remains undetermined (not "publicly" anyways :p). What do know is that the tints are going to be stunning, as per AR's previously designer resin releases, that much is certain. You just might haveta cross your fingers to see if they appear at the coming New York Comic Con, yeh? (No promises here folks) ... And one more thing ~ it'll be perfect for Halloween :)

Color Reveal of Hieroman by Hieroglyphics x GOLD COIN for mid-October release

Remember the Hieroman figure from Ray "Three" Robinson 3 we featured a while back? Well here is the final "tease" in full-color! Standing 7" tall, the vinyl Hieroman will be available mid-October as part of The Hieroglyphics x GOLD COIN Capsule Collection.

WHAT: 'The vinyl figure features the classic Hiero logo face, and comes equipped with a laser engraved wooden medallion necklace. Just like the better rappers in the industry he doesn't have just one face, but two. His head spins around to reveal a signature GOLD COIN piece. Celebrating classic backpack rap, he's equipped with his own knapsack and green beanie.'

VISEone @ Patch Together for New York Comic Con 2010

Shown above is a new COMIC STRIPPED custom by VISEone on a 10" GID Mad*L with the Incerdible Hulk as the theme! Completed utilizing Milliput, Comic Collage Technique, Acrylic Paint & Brushwork (Perect use of the green GID, IMHO), this figure, along with a "special" COMIC STRIPPED version of the THINK-PINK-CELLE figure (designed for the designertoy store THINK-PINK-CELLE.de in germany / blogged) will be on display at the PATCH TOGETHER booth @ the coming New York Comic Con ~ along with previous ComicStripped customs, and a special NYCC X-RAY FLOXY version (pink colorway with black print limited edition of 100) of the upcoming FLOXY blindbox series, as well as some free VISEone GIVE AWAYS. Event-Recap: Fury Planet Show by Mai Hiro x Fury Animals @ Dragatomi

RECAP-TEXT: The invasion was a success at Dragatomi. It was a great show for Mai Hiro and Fury Animals.

During the invasion, new paintings from both Mai Hiro and Fury Animals were created just for this show. There are also collaboration clothing line that was made specially for the show. A few new lines and future products made its apperances during the show. The debut of the Fury Animals mini series and 12" Fury Bunny that is expected to be released in 2011. MaiHiro Golden Lucky Spiki Cat made its apperances as well that was suppose to be an exclusive for MyX T.V x MaiHiro that was release at the J-POP Summit Festival. There were also artwork that features cosplay model Linda Le.


RECAP-CONTINUED: There were special appearances by cosplay model Linda Le (shown above), the creator of Scapegoat Billy's "Jure Gavran" and street fighter artist Long Vo. Many thanks to these special guest that came out to meet their fans during this invasion. Thanks to all the fans that made it to the invasion. Thanks for making this a successful and great show.

Event: Remedy Group Exhibition @ Rivet Gallery (Oct 2-31)

EVENT-PRESS: Rivet's upcoming group exhibition featuring the artwork of such notable artist as Scott Musgrove, Nathan Ota, Nathan Jurevicius, Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters, and more, opens this Saturday, October 2nd. An opening reception will be held that evening from 7-10pm and complimentary beverages will be provided by Magic Hat. This show features oils, acrylics, watercolours, silkscreens, and hand-painted custom toys from the artists. The exhibition will run from October 2nd through October 31st.

Remedy Group Exhibition
Taking thematic inspiration from the need to find cures for disease this group art exhibition will consist of each artist creating an original piece of art inspired by the theme. 25% of all exhibition sales will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to assist in their research into discovering cures for breast cancer.


Laura of Rivet adds: "This particular exhibition has a very personal connection to me as I am a breast cancer survivor, being diagnosed less than a week after signing the lease agreement to open Rivet. In it's own way, I'd like this exhibition to help in a small way to further fund the research that played such a role in my own treatment as it has in countless other lives."
