From this uber-cool artwork imagery by artist Masahiro Ito for this coming April 7th opening of his solo show "EYE OF THE WOLF ARTSHOW!" @ DIS Micro Gallery in DUMBO, Brookyn ~ it simply looks to be an utterly amazing show! The dioramas have me a ready+steadfast convert! We've previously posted about Mas' submission for the Toy Tokyo's April 2nd "Benefit Art Auction for the Japan Earthquake & Pacific Tsunami Relief", and this is a real eye-opener as well! In fact, they are mind-blowing, as well the execution of dioramic-qualities warm my heart … enough of my yakking, here are more glorious previews!

The Jakarta-based charity initiative "Charity Event Japan Tsunami Relief" organized by Plastic Culture is not just limited to the folks in Indonesia ~ with this image from Argentinean designer Patricio Oliver ~ to be printed via wood paneling measuring 40 cm x 91.8 cm, of which only ONE will be printed and made available! Unicornos Mini Cuteness from tokidoki

We've posted in the past about tokidoki's UNICORNOS, having spotted them at STGCC last year. Now we get to see higher-res packaging and group snaps from the good folks at tokidoki (thanks Emily!). These will be their first mini-series release in two years, so it is indeed white a treat (I Loved the Cactus Friends back in the day). Do look out for the availability of thees mini figures from April 25th!


With a SRP of US$6.95 per blind box, each 2.5 inch tall cutie is to be made of Non-Phthalate PVC, with blind boxes in "Display Flats" of 24, with each containing an even assortment of 8 characters, and a chance at 2 chase options of: FUMO (1/50 ratio) and PRIMA DONNA (1/200 ratio!). Yarn Shroom Raffle by ESC Toy

"Yarn Shrooms" stand 3 inches tall, and are based on the 'Skratch 9th Life' serial numbers mentioned on the ESC twitter @ESCtoy.

The "Emo CyBoy custom-Munny stands 7 inches tall, and was made specifically for, and displayed at Munny World Festival Indonesia circa 2010, as well the Mini-Munny customized on-site at Plastic Culture for the same event. On the tee is written "Mainan Itu Jahat", which essentially translates to "Toys Evil" in Bahasa. Both will be up for adoption this coming Saturday April 2nd at 'Charity Event for Japan Tsunami Relief' at The Other Culture [Event Details]. Proceeds of the sale of these two will go on to benefit the victims of Japan Tsunami via World Harvest.

And while Hot Toys prepares to unleash their DX Edition Jack Sparrow in 1/6, they've not forgotten about their other production aspect: Cosbabys! With this teaser snap showcasing the 3-inch tall Jack and Blackbeard from the "Pirates Of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides".

Their previous At World's End series looks to be a delight, as well the Skeleton Jack I was gagging for (never did own them tho), so frankly, my hopes are pretty high to be at least entertained by this set to come.
