And just when I lauded the man in "Work Of Art 2" too (although I reckon this would've made a swell submission for Episode 3's "Pop-Art"-challenge tho ;p).

Everything Dies: Solo Show by Amanda Visell @ Guru Gallery, New Mexico (Nov 3)

Amanda Visell will be holding her solo show "Everything Dies" at Guru Gallery in Mexico City on November 3rd, while a Switcheroo workshop and signing happens Nov 5th - and features the Beast Brothers resin skull with Michelle, Nichole and Carlos East. Be also be on a lookout for her new resin "Lowl" (shown ablve-left) = a copper-make in a limited edition of 10 pieces.

The Coming of Funghi from TADO

"Coming very soon! Based on one of the characters from the artwork we created with Aki Oishi for last years Neon Festival, Funghi is a very special collaborative project between ourselves and Scotland’s finest Fleet Collective and Creo-Design. Hopefully Funghi will make his first appearance at this years festival, 5th-12th November in Dundee. We’ll keep you posted on when he will be available to buy, there’s 60 of the little chaps in 35 different colourways, including plenty one-offs!" ~blogged creators TADO of their upcoming FUGHI.

From Creo Design's Facebook we have a glimpse of some turnarounds of the 3D-render, as well a couple of WIP-snaps of the 4-inch tall figurine. I hope they would not come "blind-boxed" tho - but then again there ARE 35 colorways to look out for LOL

Release the Puffer Puss plush @ DesignerCon by Martin Hsu

We've posted a teaser-before, and now Martin Hsu's PUFFER PUSS Plush is ready to be unleashed upon the masses at this coming DesignerCon! With a Limited Edition of 50pcs, the first release of only 15 will happen at DCon on Saturday November 5th @ Martin's booth #413. Each plush comes with art card signed & numbered by himself and Lana Crooks (the maker of the plushies).

PRODUCT-PRESS: Stroll' Cavey is a collaboaration bewteen Cavey and Spanky Stokes. Designed in the image of Stroll, the Spankystokes.com mascot, Stroll Cavey is limited to just 10 numbered pieces and is made from cuddly soft off-white fleece, with a layered hand cut felt eye, little felt teeth, hand embellished felt horns and a little belly button.

Hyperactive Monkey Designer Con 2011 Exclusive

PRESS: Straight from the slums of Shaolin, Hyperactive Monkey is proud to release for Designer Con 2011 the Monkey Kung Fu Master Shaolin Savings Bank Rose Wood Edition. This master figurine is made of resin and stands 6.25” tall and is painted in a red and black treatment. He even comes complete with a removable red beaded necklace. Coins can be slipped through the back of his head and emptied through the base of his feet with the removal of the Hyperactive Monkey rubber stopper.

This DCon-edition is priced at US$50 per and is limited to 20 pieces, and comes inclusive of a signed 3.25” by 4.75” black and red wood grained mini print. Available along with other Hyperactive Monkey goodies at the Hyperactive Monkey Booth booth #427.

In addition to coincide with this release, Hyperactive Monkey will have on view a 3 foot wooden Monkey Kung Fu Master on display. This magnificent sculpture was carved by master artist Lorenzo Foncerrada.

Arrived on my doorstep in Singapore today, are a duo of leggy Tomorrow Queens from ThreeA Toys - with the above image an expected one for otakus worldwide, and perhaps on day soon I will release her from her plastic-tray prison for some poses and fun. The same goes for Vanilla TQ, which remains sealed still in her cardboardbox prison. There just is not enough time in a day for play! Trailer for Anime Festival Asia / TOYSREVIL @ AFA 2011

Today is the first of November and the countdown has begun for Anime Festival Asia (AFA 2011) which happens from November 11th - 13th (*gasp*). TOYSREVIL will be having a (Doujin) table space at the event and will be offering quite a few surprises! Things are starting to come into place, and I can tease a few stuff to look out for!


Shown above are yummy-colored Sprogs in the form of delectable Bits-n-Bytes from Cris Rose of UK! Extremely limited and available in Singapore, I will have them as one of the fillings for the gashpon-goodies to be had. Sharing art toys and the toy-joy with the anime-crowd muahahahahaha


As well there is a contest to be launched for the month of November, in tandem with my tenure at AFA! Currently awaiting final confirmation of details, the above is a teaser-sneak of artwork by Gabriel Tiongson - who is one of the Judges for the contest!
