As part of the opening night party for Re-Venture by 3A Toys, the festivities included a "live painting" session by artists Ashley Wood and Rufus Dayglo, with this painted wood panel the result. Seems every launch would include a live-painting spectacle, and that provides a sense of "LIVE" excitement to the proceedings, and I reckon is a welcomed aspect of any event these days.
There is something satisfying to see a blank canvas filled up pretty quick within a short duration of time - something which I had felt was like a "challenge" for the artist, and now? I reckon tis the 'fun' aspect to an otherwise "peek-and-buy" event as most events go, I reckon.
The second day (Sunday) of RVHK saw both Wood and Dayglo alongside William Wray for a scheduled signing session with their fans, sat in front of the 3A toy-wall/gallery, in an organized session (well, at least seen from images) which lasted three hours! Hey, a "live" demo and a signing session = a simple prerequisite bare minimum for 'events' these days, isn't it? *Schweet* ~ Check out more images of the signing session on the 3aVOX Facebook album.
