The Sketches of Guillermo del Toro

I am reminded of film directors who draw their own storyboards, with folks like Ridley Scott and the late Tony Scott firm "heroes" in my celluloid-loving books … and on a parallel plane of awesomeness, is director Guillermo del Toro, who fils his sketchbooks with conceptual creations and designs, which evolve and leap unto the silver screen. Film.com collects various images of the book-pages from a variety of sources (select images reposted here), including work for "Hell Boy", "Pan's Labyrinth" and "Pacific Rim".

As well shown below is a video of del Toro in Japan, whereby he actually shows one of the sketchbooks in question!
