Freddy vs. Jason Bishoujo Statues by Kotobukiya

Last seen as an illustration on display at New York Toy Fair, Kotobukiya's "Freddy vs. Jason" pair now sees both the gender-swapped celluloid characters in three-dimensional Bishoujo statue-life! How can I say "NO" to posting about scantily-clad slasher grrrrls? LOL

Sculpted by Takaboku Busujima (Busujimax) based on character interpretation by Shunya Yamashita - JASON stands over 8 ½ inches tall (1/7 scale) and will be available circa November 2014, while FREDDY stands just over 7 inches tall (1/7 scale), and will be available earlier in October 2014. Do check in with your fav retailer(s) for pricing. Now for more pics!

"Yamashita and Kotobukiya’s version of the slasher takes its inspiration from Jason’s on screen look but mixes in a beautiful girl in the bishoujo style. Voorhees stands in a relaxed pose in her tattered pants, top, and jacket with the iconic machete in one hand and an axe held over her shoulder. The scraps of her clothing reveal quite a bit of skin and her muscular physique, while her cute face is partly obscured by the nightmarish hockey mask strapped to the side of her head!" (Kotobukiya)
"Since 1984, Freddy has been scaring people in the Nightmare on Elm Street films as a razor-gloved killer who terrorizes his victims in their dreams, and in 2003 he crossed over with Mr. Voorhees of the Friday the 13th series in Freddy vs. Jason. This new Freddy may wear the same iconic striped sweater, hat, and bladed glove, but that’s where the similarities end. A blonde vixen, this Krueger is a beauty with torn clothing, mismatched stockings, and even lacy undergarments peeking out from under her sweater!" (Kotobukiya)
