Project 2501: A Homage to "Ghost In The Shell" by Recreating Opening Sequence in "Live" Action

WARNING: NUDITY IN VIDEO
"A respectful homage to Shirow Masamune’s manga and Mamoru Oshii’s seminal film “Ghost in the Shell”, this is a modernized direction that still tries to stays true to the original creator’s vision. What started as a photo tribute directed by Ash Thorp and Tim Tadder (photography), soon became a worldwide collaboration of more than 20 artists from around the world, with each and everyone coming together to help breathe life into the project, resulting in the artistic interpretation you see below."
Thus explains the genesis of "Project 2501" - a homage to the "classic" cyberpunk anime by Mamoru Oshii; "Ghost In The Shell", and I await with baited breath for the chance to see the full sequence ... meanwhile, click on full screen viewing on the video above to inhale the awesomeness, IMHO :)

Head on to www.gits2501.com to view both further images to the project, as well as a bountiful choice of graphical support (images featured below via), and check out the original film title sequence to the 1995 anime here.
