Reveals for #Super7 at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 #SDCC2016

Super7-SDCC2016

Since the earlier teaser announcements, Super7 has revealed a few of their exclusives for the coming San Diego Comic Con 2016 (July 20-24) - with goodies to be had for both SDCC itself, and the return of the pp-up shop known as "Skeletor's Lair"!

Reveals include the "Super Size Alien Warrior Prototype", "Masters of the Universe M.U.S.C.L.E. multi-color Trash Can sets" (Revealed at New York Toy Fair earlier this year), The "He-Man Power Token" (a companion to last year's Skeletor Token), and a further tease for "The Worst" with "Gas Phantom" (in name only).

"In 1979, Kenner released an 18-inch Alien for the ALIEN film. That toy has since become one of the most sought after ALIEN collectibles. As an exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con 2016, Super7 is unleashing the 18-inch Super Size Alien Warrior Prototype from the 1986 sequel ALIENS!"
Featuring articulation at the hips, shoulders, wrists, and tail, and a spring-loaded jaw mechanism to release the inner jaws (operated with a trigger on the back of the head), this beast can be yours for US$195 each, only available at the Booth #4945 San Diego Comic Con 2016 (July 20-24).

STORY: "The Alien Warrior figure never existed in prototype form in 1986. The backstory is that this piece is a prototype sample of the Alien Warrior for "internal review". The packaging is a prototype package, modeled after the Alien ReAction Figures 2-Pack from 2013. The package is meant to be a mock-up, with hand-written notes about what is approved, needs to be changed, or filled in during the production process. While the original Kenner 3.75” Alien action figures were genuinely created and cancelled in the late-70s, and rescued by Super7 for ReAction Figures, the Super Size Alien Warrior is a "what-if" figure." Masters of the Universe M.U.S.C.L.E. multi-color figure Trash Can sets will make their debut at the Skeletors Lair, with each can priced at only US$20! But you'll have to score your "Power Token" (seen below) from SDCC Booth #4945, before you can gain entry to the designated lair at 701 8th Avenue (corner of G Street).

The jury is still out on GAS PHANTOM from "THE WORST", a "new" line from Super7 that remains to be revealed. Tagline: "There are good guys.. There are bad guys.. and then there are... The Worst. Prepare to meet Gas Phantom at San Diego Comic-Con!"
