Ron English’s SUN FLOWERS at Art Fair Tokyo 2017 (March 16)
I know “sunflowers” are pretty and all, but I’ve never felt the need to have green-fingers, until seeing these images now, of Ron English at the Art Fair Tokyo, with his “potted” SUNFLOWERS collectibles - featuring a trio of “flower faces” - in SMILEY (33pcs), GRIN (100pcs) and 3-EYED SPONGE (200pcs) - making a total of 333pcs.
On show at JPS Art Gallery (Booth N21) for Art Fair Tokyo 2017 @ Tokyo International forum Japan over the weekend just, here are a selection of snaps to share and gawk at!
And while the flowers were available to purchase at the fair itself (Price: US$510 each), ”some quota will be reserved for online overseas buyers at www.jpsgallery.com” - as for the “WHEN”, stay tuned to Instagram @ronenglishart or @bbcbyjps for updates.
And it wasn’t just “Sunflower” collectibles, as Ron English performed a “live painting” of a Grin Sunflower on stage too!
