LoFi Collective + Jyelloween at Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Con 2018 (Sept 8-9)

Singapore will have the opportunity to experience a slice of South Korean's toy-art courtesy of Eun Byeol Choi AKA LoFi Collective and Jihye Park AKA Jyelloween (from the TOWOOZ Collective) for when they descend unto Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Con (8-9 Sept 2018), and offer up adorable awesome-toyness at Booth MB12!
Featured up top is the "Summer Beach" Versions of SKOLLS from @sunnyandcloudyweathershop (I have been GAGGING to add a Skoll (or two) to my humble collections since featuring her on the blog), and the adorable Baby Oscar!

ARTIST BIO: "LOFI Collective is an art toy designer, who obtains the motives from music. LOFI is expanding LOFI's extent of expression of the theme, reaching to illustration, animation, potteries and so on. "Sunny and Cloudy weather shop", comprising of characters relating to wethers and emotions, motivated by 'Why does it always rain on me' by Travis. ( Skoll, in the recent project 'Sunny and cloudy weather shop', is a girl who lets it rain and lets the lightning strike. The name sounds similar with "Squall", which means a shower; the impression of sun-chasing wolf 'Skoll' in Celtic mythology and the image of lightning monster 'Raju' in Japan are also adopted. The wolf above the head represents the mind of the girl. When she is calm, it does not rain since the wolf sleeps; when she is not, the wolf wakes up and it starts raining. ) LOFI's plans to create a series of characters relating to weather and their colored version, starting with 'Skoll'." ARTIST BIO: "Artist jyelloween is working as an illustrator and art toy artist. She is showing a world of work through Art Nouveau style, Halloween sensibility, patterns and illustrations inspired by the gardens and plants, and the formative arts. Her work Oscar series covers the gardener 'Oscar' in the secret garden of witches and its background, and will work on various works such as picture books, illustrations, art toys based on them."
