"Live" at 'Fonzo Loves NY' show @ myplasticheart (launched Jan 11)

I was planning to post a dedicated Facebook-album showcasing al the FONZO-customs I had posted about on the TOYSREVIL-blog, for the "Fonzo Loves NY" show @ myplasticheart, but seems the show had already launched (as of this post) and shown here are snaps swiped from Benny Kline's Instagram @tenacioustoys - with the above customs from (top: Kathie Olivas and Chuckboy, (bottom) Ian Ziobrowski and Jeff Lamm.

Custom-Feature: Hermzo by Gary Ham (for 'Fonzo Love NY')

Gary Ham shares with us his custom Fonzo for the "Fonzo Loves NY" show at myplasticheart launching this Friday Jan 11th. And if he looks somewhat "familiar", Gary explains the reason 'why':

"It's basically a reincarnation of Hermees. The wings were sculpted with magic sculpt and the custom painted with cel vinyl."

Custom Toy Roundup (Jan 6)

Shown above are a pair of TANK GIRL MUNNY custom commissions from Melodreama (one of them is "Jet Girl", I think), while below is a swell selection of recent customs from Troy Martin (my fav of which is the 'Despicable Me' MINION from a Dudebox figure = nicely done!)

WIP Micro Kaiju Negora by Mark Nagata features all kinds of character faces and yummies "in it's hands", including the swell hot dog shown above! Really pops out against the back-negora tho = I LIKE! Done for the coming Negora Show at OneUp in Japan.

Custom-Feature: Amarok by Charles Rodriguez (for 'Fonzo Love NY")

"At the origin of the world, there was only one man and one woman, with no animals. The woman asked Kaila, the god of the sky, that populate the Earth. Kaila ordered to make a hole in the ice to fish. Then she took out of the hole, one by one, all the animals. The caribou was last. Kaila said that caribou was his gift, the nicest I could do: for food for his people. The caribou are multiplied and the children of humans could hunt them, eat their meat, weaving their clothes and make their stores. However, humans always chose the most beautiful caribou, the largest. One day, they were only the weak and the sick, so that the Inuit did not want more. The woman then complained to Kaila. He forwarded the ice and she caught the wolf, sent by Amarok, the spirit of the wolf, that would eat the weak and sick animals to keep in good health caribou."

"Amarok" is the name of a gigantic wolf in Inuit mythology, and is also a custom-Fonzo from Charles Rodriguez, completed for the "Fonzo Love NY" group show @ myplasticheart, opening January 11th.

A trio of sneak peeks are custom-Fonzos (courtesy of Freak Store) for the upcoming January 11th FONZO LOVE NY group customs show at myplasticheart - featuring the works of (clockwise) Scribe, Nakanari and Rsin (all single-worded names too lol).



David Ten aka DeeTen comes his latest 3" Custom Dunnys, dubbed "Hermit Tank, circa 1886", currently on sale here for US$85 each. This release has five tanks total. Really hard-pressed to identify the Dunnys tho = swell job!



PopCorn Head presents delightful customs perfect for the festive seasons with his "Peenito Xmas Tree Custom Dunny" - available here for US$65 each.


From Mike Graves comes KIBBLES THE BESERKER! Completed for TOYSREVIL's Black Friday 2012 event and currently available for purchase here for US$200.
