j achilles brad pitt 1/6 troy
last seen in event-coverage images (here) during the Asian Toys Expo, Brad Pitt's 1/6th TROY has gone on ebay [images via] and boy does he look gooood!
no details on the origin of the creator/designer and/or manufacturer, except for the name: "J Achilles" (???) - unless of coz i procure the figure and read-out the box-details (if any), innit? *bleh*
(the figure, i mean) while the likeness is pretty decent, the finishing and paint app is pedestrian, but the weathered armour and weapons seem outstanding! altho i still think they'd do so much better with a Hot Toys' moulded muscle-body instead of a BBI-G3, IMHO :p
now this'll be a figure i'd lurve to have in my collection, lemme tell ya :) *heh*

Another awesome looking figure...I agree with you on the body template tho...looks weak next to all the other great detail work on the figure.
ReplyDeleteyeh, there's this insane notion of getting this figure and attempt to transfer unto a Hot Toy's muscled body myself, depending on the neckjoint tho ... but yes, that would be insane (becoz i cant afford it in the first place! LOL)
