hmv x fantastic plastic machine bearbrick
when i first featured the HMV X Fantastic Plastic Machine Be@rbrick a whiles back, i (frankly) had nary the intention to hunt down any of the bears, much less procure them (:p) ... but after seeing this on SlamXHype? ... my grubby hands twitchingly quiver for it...

produced by Medicom for a HMV Japan release (July 4th @ ¥1,050-per), this apparently is a direct bearbrick-adaptation of Tomoyuki Tanaka aka Fantastic Plastic Machine :p
now, i've only ever own a single album from FPM ("Beautiful") and i remember liking it ... but enough to want the bearbrick? ... it's the allure of the packaging, dammit.
(p/s: i too am a sucker for good packaging LOL *le sigh*)

I have several FPM CDs, but, the only real temptation I'd ever have from Be@rbricks in that direction would be Pizzicato Five style. Heh, they could easily do an entire blind assortment series of those, with all the different looks Nomiya Maki has had...and, the chase figure could be Yasuharu Konishi in a kilt...
ReplyDeleteyou had me at "PIzzicato5", dear Andrea :))))
ReplyDeletet'was becoz of P5 that i'd try FPM lol - and you may have hit on an excellent idea! hhhmmmmm
