further to my last posting (*cough*) Medicom Toys has now listed both
the RAH 1/6th Indiana Jones and Dr. Henry Jones Sr for an August-drop
@ a SRP of 17,640YEN each (US$177 / SGD$246)
i can't quite place the "look" of the sculpt, altho i'd understand this is Harrison Ford / Indiana - circa "The Last Crusade" (by virtue of Jones Senior's presence) and slightly older - but he somehow looks a tad "manga-ish" to me, but no doubt still a pretty darn good likeness (extreme-eye-bags notwithstanding), even offering a slight tinge of a smirk (compared to Sideshow Toy's 'seriousness', IMHO) ... whereas Henry Jones / Sean Connery's sculpt is exceptional. 'nuff said. if the production pieces mirror or exceed these prototypes? = *sweet*
besides diggin' Jones Senior's spectacles, so too is his bag and brolly a sweet addition to the figure, balanced out with Indy's quartet of relics thru the movies: Fetility Idol (from Raiders), *im-lost*,
About the relics
ReplyDeleteI noticed your more recent post had a picture with only 4 relics where as the previous post had a picture with 5 relics:

The fifth one is of the Headpiece to the Staff of Ra which he used to find the final resting place of the lost Ark of the Covenant.
Was it just an oversight on the person who made that second picture or has that Headpiece no longer going to come with Indy?
