x-files2 movie: one-sheet and bootleg trailer
Mark Snow's signature X-Files theme still sends tingles down my lard-lined-spine ever so often, but frankly, i've never been that hardcore a fan of X-Files - heck i haven't even watched the first movie! ... but i have the trading cards tho ... maybe they'd be worth something laterz hhmmm ... meanwhile peep the 1st one-sheet [via] of the upcoming untitled movie sequel directed by Chris Carter - ie: X-FILES 2, as well as a bootlegged trailer HERE [via] - which frankly, doesn't do much for me either ... but i post to please i try! LOL
I have been a hard-core fan of x-files. I still watch the old ones but frankly, I'm not sure I expect it to be much nowadays. In its time it was an innovative new series, and imo, had done a lot for the Sci Fi genre, but now, I'm not sure if they can bring something new to the table.
ReplyDeleteThe other thing is the way that xfiles died, IMO. It was killed by the new cast the changes in the roles of the stars, etc. Everytime a great show has established stars and that mix is changed, more often than not, the show fails at that point. I was disappointed to see it go.
In spite of what I've said here though, I'll definitely be giving it a chance! Perhaps we'll all be surprised!
my only "hope" for any re-imagined / homage'd / remake / adaptation and revitalization of any concept/product = is that they at the very least "entertain" me ...becoz to "fight" against my own expectations (based on good memories) and/or fear of disappointment, would make not a good lead-up to any flick, IMHO ...
ReplyDelete... which is quite ironic, as this blog may serve also as a hype-machine, if anything else lol
Absolulely. Great point Andy. There's been a part of me that's been wanting a return to the x files..
