In fact I love Halloween! Being able to see other people costumes when you might be able to see the real think who knows a witch might appear or a real MUMMY or a real VAMPIRE for that case. Halloween is fun and I enjoy it most cause its a day where I can dress up in anything as I like without worrying it does not suits me nor worry that people will stare at you,having kids coming to the door off when the house that looks eerie doing trick or treats. Halloween like monsters will say "we all look alike during this time and we can party till dawn". Halloween is the best! Even tho I wish it last forever...

I like halloween because its the time where I can put something on and not be judged for the way that I look. Plus its a great time to see how creative we all can be and have fun, not to mention if candy is involved lol i'm sure all of us have sweet tooths heh

I like Halloween because as a child growing up in part of the Bible belt, I wasn't allowed to trick or treat, or even partake in any of the festivities. We had to stay in the dark in our rooms and be tortured by the neighborhood children knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell. So now I celebrate every year with partying and candy to make up for 18 years without it! I also make sure to dress up in costume for the entire day! :D

Halloween, or Oíche Shamhna in Irish is the celtic festival celebrating the end of the "lighter half" of the year and beginning of the "darker half". How could you not like it, i'm Irish and have grown up with huge bonfires and fireworks and this is basically New years for us :) oh and there's a damn load of candy too, mmmmmm skull candy..........

I LOVE Halloween because I love all the skulls and other creepy things....it is also part of Dia de Los Muertos which my art reflects and is also a HUGE favorite of mine. Halloween has such a magical & eerie feel to it that I LOVE!!!

I love Halloween because it is the only time of the year where complete strangers greet you at the door and give you treats! Everyone has fun for a couple of hours.... it's a beautiful thing.

ReplyDeleteHalloween is not that big in Australia but we love the IDEA of Halloween and it's starting to take off... except Australian teens don't dress up, you open the door and they say "give us sweets or we'll trash the place" and it's generally not fun. ;)

In Argentina, Halloween celebrations has started to become usual just some years ago.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, we've been (me and my husband) throwing parties for years, and now that we have children, Halloween is double xD one party for the kids, and one for the adults.
One of the things I like the most about Halloween is that I can dress however I like, and use weird make up. And eat dozens of donnuts with chocolate and orange & black frosting :3

I love Halloween because I make someone smile by just giving them some candy. I rarely go trick-or-treating with my parents because they've never been a supporter of the tradition, but they're okay with me handing out treats. In a sense, I get to live vicariously through the little trick-or-treaters that show up at my doorstep. Not to mention, I love to see what costumes they're wearing.

I spend most of my evenings prowling around my neighborhood, in my spandex skeleton suit, tracking zombie squirrels, checking up on the 5th avenue raccoons and making sure everyone's front doors are locked.

I love halloween because my mother rocked the original costume game. We didn't always have money for store bought costumes, but she always found a way for my outfits to be original. I kept that tradition going after I left home. My mom was a halloween rockstar.

I love Halloween, it is very interesting when I saw her in movies or on TV news coverage diliputan. unfortunately in Indonesia are not many who hold this tradition (Halloween) yes, so Halloween is sometimes limited to a small event at the cafe 'and the designers and artists here, which in turn makes the work with a Halloween theme ideas. or never happened just fun to make Halloween-themed costume: D

I love Halloween! It is the only holiday I know of where people give so freely (candy) and actually expect nothing in return (unlike Christmas). You also get to live out your fantasies in costume and it's not as 'deviant' as it would be normally - everyone and everything is accepted. Also, a good time of the year if you love the Horror genre, which I do...!
