strangely enuff, as excited i am of it coming soon, yet i can't be arsed. i wonder why ... maybe tis the resistense of "hype"? or the baggage of the past 2 duds that keeps me from being totally overexcited? of coz i'd still go and watch it! but somehow alla the "magic" seems dissipated in a way. or we/i too spoilt for "choice" - in this day and age, nothing else seems that FANTASTIC anymore, ya know? i admit i've never been that hardcore a fan, but tis the "ideology" behind it all that still gets to me. who would've thot something that came out eons ago would still survive til today? great story? great concept? or just great merchandizing?
here's hoping the toys'll at least get better? but from the pix i see, i sure ain't gonna be holding my breath... *shudder* ...
... i remember when hasbro's jango fett came out, i thot it looked like shitte! but still i wanted it, but t'was going for at least $110 shelfprice... but my patience was rewarded when a year or so later, i picked it up from my fav toy-retailer for ssshhh =$30. 'nuff said! looks like ima gonna be waiting a while more for this baby then! *double-shudder* MUAHAHAHAHA ... but then again, i might not even get it at all!
