hope can be such a double-edged sword.

hope for the best, for the future, for one's well-being. hope things'll turn out alright. hope things will change and develop for the better. hope for your loved one's health (my greatest wish now). positive hope.

tho hope might even be a fear. an inevitable possible negative ... for sometimes, there seems a glimmer of hope - but you fear it might mislead you down the path of self-indulgence or paint a faint image of a rainbow, only to be replaced by a yet another downpour ... the bliss before the storm ... false hope is destructive.

and right now? both types of hopes are imbuded within the heart ... tho my head's got something to say as well, with alarmbells ringing in the faraway background ... shall i wait til the alarm gets closer, before i react?

why can't life be more clear-cut? dammit.
