v for very-long-wait
a new one-sheet poster is out! see it in it's full glory on Ain't-It-Cool-News, via the official movie website, via Superhero Hype.
and dammit it looks retro-communistic-cool (or "very post WWI but pre WWII German expressionistic" as mentioned) sorta like them russian propaganda posters eh?
... am "appreciating" the promo for this so far, with a wide-spanning-web-campaign of launching another three posters on other prominent websites: MTV, IGN.com and UGO ... clever clever little grasshoppers ... and of coz i'd show them here when it happens as well .. :p
anticipation of the movie heightened a whiles back and had since subsided, not least the lack of promotion or even hype about it ... "secrecy" is a neccessary "evil" in this cyberage, granted ... but when it becomes all too engulfing? a blackholevoid it becomes, until the next press-release, of coz! altho, i'd not let "the marketing campaign" screwup the actual "celluloid experience" i might/would have; when i sit in the darkened theatre, a box'a popcorn in hand and a mind waiting to be filled with celluloid-goodness (especially comics-based-movies) ... i can only but hope, can't i?
*stay tuned for more images*

am likin' this image, like something out of a graphic novel cover ~ tis looks more like David Lloyd's illustration-style of the original comicbook, dun it? *kewl* ~ or better bet would be it's along the vein of stenciling (ala: street art/graffiti), ya reckon? :)
found on MTV
nice symetrical composition/design while utilizing the silhouette, altho the two daggers look as if they're wreaths on Natalie's head, dun it? *heh* :p
izzit me or is MTV being pathetically stingy with their promo? can't seem to be able to view any other bigger sized image of poster on their site.crapperz

the most "comic-looking" poster so far, more so graphicnovel than the IGN-one, i reckon ... very much in the vein of Gaijin Studios or even Jason Pearson, dunnit? (okay, maybe im "reaching" it a bit, no?) IMHO of coz :)
*now, the trick is to get my grubby hands on ALLA these posters in singapore ... URGH*
