:: MOVIES / ART ::
finally watched Morgan Spurlock's Supersize Me just(so sue me im slow *BAH* :p) and all i could think of was gobbling down a Big Mac and mayhap an Apple Pie, washed down wif a bigcuppa Sprite ... WTF was i thinking?
and a hohum-documentary/movie it turned out to be (IMHO), thoentertaining as it was it deterred me not much (perhaps i was too hungry then, to be deterred!) ... and i had to make do with a few raisin biscuits and a hot cuppa milo *burp* ... or maybe the trailer would do better for YOU than me :p
one good thing about the flick, was that it featured the surreal/subversive artwork (juz keep-on click "more paintings"!) of Ron English, who's work can be found on Popaganda (check out the Popaganda Documentary Movie Trailer: here :) = viewing his artwork leaves one gasping for the air of reality, whilst still wallowing intently on the images, already searing themselves in your memory and hidden behind your cornea ... you fear and yet you stare ... and in time, it all looksdeceptively dearthly serene and hauntingly beautiful ...
English has "dabbled" in toys = the Ronnie Rabbit vinyl figure from Dark Horse ... as well as his recentcutting "commentary billboards". (see the docu-trailer : here :)
*this here's da good shitte*
