:: TOYS / LIFE IN SINGAPORE ::
i remember a few years ago (3? 4 years?) when i was directing a weekly "arts" magazine show for a local teevee-station, whereby an "immerging young new street artist" named Sam Flores popped by Singapore and was commissioned to do some wall murals in a local mall ... and that we had interviewed him as well as recorded a time-lapse version of his mural ... regrettably, all these are unavailable to me now (*drats*) and all i came away with was a promo-t-shirt ... to put it simply, if i had known then what i know now? this blog'll be filled with pix of his work! AND toys! (*double-drats*)
unneccessary reminiscing aside, Sam Flores' new Fatima vinyl (in collaboration with Ningyoushi + Upper Playground) is looking serenely pleasant and is tugging a tad at my purse-strings (okay, not "purse", but "wallet" :p) ... and his Tigerbaby's something i've longed for but inadvertedly missed along the way (ie: no moolah) ...
*good stuff* :)
