I Am 8-Bit is also an annual group art show held in Los Angeles, with participating artists of various mediums with their reinterpretations of "80's gaming bliss" ~ and they've just had their 2nd exhibition @ Gallery 1988 and here are some event pictures for y'all:

personally, im enjoying the warm fuzzy nostalgic-feelings within when i look at the artwork / interpretations of once-familiar icons ... and at the same time in subtled-bliss that this generation has somehowmanaged to embraced my generation (*cough-cough*) and it's culture ... and i think that's truly *cool* :)
