mocotoy - brazilian toy art show
MOCOTOY = billed as the "first ever Brazilian Toy Art show" [via] but the only "toy" i could find was a plush. and i recognize Toscotoys (lurve their plushes - via).
with that said, either i need to (A) brushup on my Brazilian (*help?*) or (B) wait til 16th September (date on flyer) to see anything or (C) i need to just enjoy the art images that abound on the site, and there are plenty of good stuff there, including photography, lomographics, print, sticker-art and street-art = go see for yourselves, yeh? *neato*

this is what happens when ya can't find a decent online-translator ~ Gizo from resimages has shared with us that the exhibition will be @ Melissa Gallery, Sao Paulo (from 16 Sept - 15 Oct) and that there'll be an online-catalogue soon.am so embarassed ~ check back here for more details ~ :)

a mixed variety of mediums and forms, with an emphasis on plushes - included in this entry are just some of the images from the online gallery (cant' pilfer them all, now can i? *heh*) and with this even further introduces Brazilian-toys to the international toy-world, IMHO :)
and what i really appreciate about it all are the write-ups of the participating designers/artists, with a link to their webbies = share to show you care ~ *cool*

ow, thats beto shibata's portfolio. he used his home page to invitate people to exhibition. in a few days, therell be the on-line catalogue.
