Sophia Coppola's Marie Antoinette has launched a new website which includes a new trailer (at least new to me) scored by music luminaries, which unfortunately seems to be getting their fair share of haters and detractors ... well, if they would prefer the movie with Bach or Beethoven, instead of these pop/rawk musicians, than maybe they could go rent Dangerous Liaisons or sum such period-flicks like dat, innit?
the website concept is very much like a college-girl's scrapbook/collage and mayhap with the music (Siouxsie and the Banshees / Bow Wow Wow / the Strokes / New Order / Gang Of Four / Adam & the Ants / the Cure / Aphex Twin / Air / Squarepusher), is trying to portray a parallel of a Marie "then" and "now"? anyways, i'll know when i go watch the flick and buy the 2-CD-set ~ *hyuks!*
