a weekend's lament

and so the new college semester had just started, and my involvement has quadrupled and responsibilities (beyond my humble Film Design-course) had just been upped to an "alarming" position (in a good way - not egotistical, but hopefully in a more fruitful result-orientated way to-come) = which further entrenches me within the "education system" (for now), something i've always been interested in tho, which is cool in a pseudo-roundabout way.

an "interesting" work opportunity had presented itself recently, for which i've been mulling over the commitment required and the ramifications of, which means sayonara-freelance-freedom and might eventually mean being further away from my toys and blog (but a man's gotta eat somehow, innit? *dammit*) ... the beginning of the domino-tumble has been the dearth/lack of toy images for my toy pix a day, which in itself is an irony, for i've been blogging about toys news (and stuff) but not having been able to even touch my toys for the past week or so, much less set-up for a photoshoot ... with a head-full of ideas and concepts to play with, i find myself sorely lacking in the "inspiration"-department to kick-start my back-logged projects as well ... i miss my toys tho ... strange but exciting times, im sure ...

and of coz i've since started a coupla blogs (yes, i am insane) with the fear they might inevitably endup in permanant cyber-transit-hell (as most of my blogs do *heh* :p) ... and all i "hear" are folks lamenting: "you can't make a living with toys" ... and the reality is, so far it hasn't proven me otherwise - which is quite a parallel actually, for with both the possible new long-term gig and a personal passion to trudge down the toy-path = starts from scratch ~ balancing on the square-of-one, hoping to be able to maintain a footing, to be able to step unto the next, and the next, so on so forth ... but will i ever know for sure? ... strange but exciting times, indeed. :)
