i'd prepped (but not published) my personal fav/top comicbooks of 2006 and Nextwave was right around the top tier ... and now, i weep buckets of ink over it's demise ... ima gonna severely miss Warren Ellis' candy-hero-mindfcuks with a wicked smirk and a warm bleeding heart(s) and Stuart Immonen's delicious illustrative-artworks and comicbook babe-renders ... and if you think im over-dramatising it? you don't know the half of it ...
