michael lau's xlaugh updates (part two)
Michael Lau's XLAUGH vinyl figures hit the States, with the announcement of the XLarge x Michael Lau x Fingercroxx X-Laugh on sale May 25th (from Noon Pacific Time) @ L.A. XLarge store (1768 North Vermont, Los Angeles, CA 90027) - with the figures retailing @ USD$120 each, and available only for walk-in customers. and courtesy of VinylPulse [info via] here are (finally) non-studio images of the figures:
XLAUGH (US / Japan Version) looking smarmy-kewl with his cap and shades, but once they're off? he looks like he's lost the keys to his truck (except it's in his pocket where he put them before) - one decent sculpt, i must say :)
FX JOE's looking like a hillbilly with a skateboard with that trucker cap tho LOL
i think i've got it figured out why FX BUSTER is looking so miffed - tis becoz he had to wear sheets to scare folks away ... innit? :p
FINGER KING's looking the most "fun" of the lot, altho the bacon-strips/hands are quite "disturbing" ... and im sure he's doing a little jig, yeh? hhhmmmm
if i could only buy one figure from this series, it would be SPACE FINGER = becoz he gets to eat a skyscraper and he's just plain cool! (dunno about the mosiac'd white "cheeks" tho LOL)
and to be fair, the next figure i would get (which i'd not considered before) would be FGXX WORK - who could resist a stormtrooper monkey-mascot with a banana? *heh*
