stan lee action figure @ sdcc 2007

there are only two basic ways where/when "famous folks" gets their likeness done/immortalized in toy-form = either when you're alive and famous or you're famous but has passed-on (as crude as this may sound, but isn't it true?) ... well, im glad Hasbro has decided/announced to do the former with their STAN LEE "limited edition" figure (hate it when folks throw-about the term like that - there should be a "cap" to being qualified to be lablelled "limited" .. like anything less than 200 production pieces? *heh*)
as a tribute to the 84 year-old Stan Lee (find out who he is HERE) , the 6"-er tall articulated figure [image via] is slated for a SDCC-debut @ USD$15-per, i wonder if there's a "variant" edition with Mr. Lee as Willie Lumpkin (in Fantastic Four)? ... *heh*

"Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber on December 28, 1921[1]) is an American writer, editor, was the Chairman Emeritus of Marvel Comics, and memoirist. Though no longer officially connected to the company, save for the title of "Chairman Emeritus", Stan Lee remains a visible face in the industry.

With several artist co-creators, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he introduced complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books.

Lee created or co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and many other characters, and led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small publishing house to a large multimedia corporation." [wiki]
