hot toy's 1/6 prison break version 2
and so brothers Michael and Lincoln has broken out of jail, and they've ditched
their prison-blues ... and now Hot Toys has given them a new set of civies:
scheduled for a 2008 January-release, both 'Michael Scofield' (Suit Version) and 'Lincoln Burrows' (Leather Jacket Version) is currently priced @ 12,000YEN / US$101+ (reservation
price 9,900YEN / US$83 @ Blister.jp) ... whereas SideShowToys has Michael and Lincoln down for a 3rd qtr-2007-ship @ USD$89.99-per ... honestly, i'd liked to be 'moved', but im not ...
... im only eyeing the leather jacket and jeans, and possibly the suit ... that's it ... *heh*
/// PEEP MORE IMAGES HERE
seen@SDCC 2007:
well, they actually do look better "in-person" (via online-pics anyways :p)
and can anybody confirm at all does "Michael" have his full body-tattoos?
(which i seriously doubt, but wanna know anyways) ... *heh*
and while i do want to question the 'validity' of the re-release of these figures (with new clothes), i reckon in the end, mayhap i should somehow be thankful that there are civilian-clothed figures being released at all - seeing how the current 1/6th-hobby is stagnating in that arena (non-designer figures, mind) IMHO ... and i can only but wait for them to be sold "loose", innit? ... and, if one is 'patient' enough, bootlegs of the headsculpt might eventually make their way into the market somehow, innit? *bleh*
