SideShowToy's 1/6 Palpatine Figure 2-Pack set [blogged] includes the Chancellor chillin' in his dark-crimson robes (hoping the sleeves are not as gawd-awful-poofy as the celluloid's tho *urgh*) and the Sith Lord-who-refuses to-use-Botox; Darth Sidious! (inclusive of witchy-hands and red eye-bags) both with multiple changeable-hands and different lightsabres = *nice*
the SST-exclusive edition comes with a Senate Cam Droid with Base, and a Sith Holocron = peep accessories-breakdown and more images here. priority-preorder begins Thursday, September 6th at 10AM (PT) (price undetermined at time of blogpost) - and while im in no particular hurry to purchase these figures, im "surprisingly" appreciative that this duo was even considered and the effort to produce both versions at one go, rather than a spread-out releasse, IMHO ... altho i really wouldn't mind having the "loose" Sith-robe tho (am ALWAYS looking out for robes to build my Sith-army *heh*)
