stephen chow to produce dragon ball z movie
my expectations for the live-action Dragon Ball Z [tagged] just went up a coupla notches, becoz has Stephen Chow has been announced to be producing this manga-adaptation (his KungFu Hustle was ace and am eagerly anticipating his CJ7) ... other updates include James Wong as director and the casting of Justin Chatwin (the a-hole son of Tom Cruise in War Of The Worlds) as GOKU and James-"Spike The Buffy-lurving-vampire"-Marsters as villain PICCOLO:
shoot will begin around end Nov (on location in Mexico, where apparently 85% of the movie will be shot) with a projected Aug 15th release in 2008 ... all of which adds up to nothing to excite me, other than having "Sing Ye" (nick of S.Chow) onboard as the producer = *sweet*
