the TOY SAVES CHILDREN ARCHIVE is a collection of 72 artworks comprising customs from 2007 BOCKY SAVES CHILDREN + 2006 DEKOBOKO Boys Save Children + 2005 Rebirthed Mummy Rabbi"t" (via framed-pictures, as the customs have already been auctioned) - currently on display as a part of Utterubbish [blogged], during the Singapore Design Festival 2007.TOY SAVES CHILDREN is an annual initiative by Furi Furi (since 2005) whereby toy-customs from international artists are auctioned off with the proceeds donated to Save The Children Japan.
the customs currently on display @ 4th floor City Hall Building (Nov 28-Dec 16) will be up for auction in January 2008 [http://myworld.ebay.com.sg/toysaveschildren]. meanwhile, if you are unable to make a trip down to the exceptional exhibition, here are a few images, as well as links to specific-customs for both BOCKY (2007) and DEKOBOKO-BOYS (2006) - *the amount of which were so huge i had to split them up into separate posts! *heh*
