reconnected and it feels so good

and so with everyone's cajoling, advice and pointers (thanks guys!) i went and downloaded Firefox, and now im back in bizness, yo! LOL ... altho i haveta say, after a day and a half of utilizing both Safari and Firefox (yep, i decided to retain Safari as well) i realize that i actually disliked Firefox thus far still prefer Safari.

WHY?

primarily becoz tis slow. after being thoroughly spoilt by the speedster load-ups of Safari (compared to FF) on my OS X, everything else is a "pain" to behold. my patience is unnecessarily tested. (which ironically, i've since come to suspect that my current intolerance was re-built up by acute blogging ~ *yikes*) ... nevertheless, tis actually been quite a while since i've actually "seen" a "loading-bar"! (LOL) ... uncomfortable flashbacks of my Vietnam-trip (circa 2000) suddenly came flooding back-in = of the torrid dial-ups of the internet cafes back then - times when i could have finished a coupla smokes (yes, right by the PC), a glass of soda and a piece of choco-cake, and my Yahoo!Mail-page was still waiting to even load-up! *faints*

but yes, i shan't whine-on too much, for at the very least i HAVE an access to the www, much less youtube, ennit? ... and i reckon, better be grateful for what one has, than to whine and pine for something that you don't, and may not even be in a/any position to change much of that fact, ennit? IMHO, anyways :p ... which may be easier said that adhered to, as i too have come to realize i am a victim creature of 'familiarity' ... nevertheless, onwards!
