UPDATE: ... is a bust. uploaded songs are not working and now it won't accept my audio-files (and i don't know how exactly to convert m4a to mp3) - so no muxtapes until this is resolved. bummer.

ReplyDeleteyeh, its not playing on my end now as well ... bummer ... tried to upload again, but now it doesn't accept my m4a-files (before it could) - only mp3-files (which i dont know how to convert) ... so no mux for now, sorry for the trouble tho :p

ReplyDeleteHmm bummer. I was going to check this out this morning... now there isn't anything up. :/ Most of the muxtapes I've tried work fine. Maybe re-post if / when you make second attempt?
ReplyDeleteOliver = i tried to re-upload the files second time around, but this time they refuesd my files (it worked when i first posted, and last week as well)
ReplyDeletethey couldnt recognize my m4a files now and insist on mp3s - fair enuff i guess ... haveta find a way to sort it out, but may take time tho *sigh*

Converting M4a to MP3 is pretty simple in iTunes--just set your importing preferences to "MP3," then select the songs you want to convert and choose "convert" from the Advanced menu at the top of the screen. That should do it unless you bought them from the iTunes store and they are locked... if that's the case, you need to burn them to CD as a regular music disc (make a playlist and then "burn CD"), then re-rip the files as MP3s.

cheers for the trouble David - but that would mean i haveta re-import the songs i already have in iTunes ... still trying to figure how to export them out as mp3s ... oh well, perhaps the next time round :p
