Remember the "Hot Toys' 1/6th scaled IRON MAN articulated action-figure" news-nugget I blogged about in April? Well, tis coming up to near 2 months and all we have is .. a tiny banner ad. And yes, tho tiny it may be, it still sends palpitating heartbeats in me wee cholesterol-choked-heart (and no, it doesn't work on Arc-light tech) ... What? You want more? So Do I Buddy! LOL ... just hope they weren't using the Hasbro Repulsor-Power IM-figure as a stand-in for the pic tho ... hhmmm
Meanwhile 9 has clued me in on a trio of new 6" Iron Man action figures on Marvelous News [original pics via] - slated for a September-drop @ SRP of US$9.99 per - featuring [l-r] Stealth Armor, Satellite Armor and Captain America Armor Iron Men ... Stark + Cap's Shield = deja vu.
... and Ima thinking these would look purdy nifty as customed-colors for the 1/6th figure, dunnit? well, maybe Cap's a tad OTT huh? maybe just needs a letter "A" on the forehead hhhmmm ...

My my, they're completely cashing in on the Iron Man Franchise. I hope this won't end in a "Batman-Action-Figure-Disaster" like Joel Schumacher.
