play imaginative @ the singapore toy & comic convention 2008

seen @ PLAY IMAGINATIVE (Booth D08)

Play Imaginative's current catalog of designer vinyls were out in an impressive force @ the Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008 - with most of them available for purchase the first time anywhere (darnnit I want all of them lor *le-sigh*) ... On display was a mixed selection of offerings from HongKong-based designers Ultraman's ULTRA KING and Boredomsqueezer's BORING JUICE, to Old Master Q TREXIs, to collabos with Kennyswork x Devilrobot's TOFU MOLLY, to the Japanese toy-mavens Devilrobot's PLAY TOFU MINIs and PLUS ROBOTS by Tokidoki x Devilrobots (for that splash of Italian-goodness) and paper-toy creator Shin Tanaka's T-BOY. Personally I thought TOUMA's Squeezel was a lurvely and huge beast and speaking of "huge", TOUMA's GIANT SKUTTLE and Devilrobot's EVIROB threaten to burst out of the display-case. Nigh impressive indeed, IMHO. Well done folks! CLICK THRU FOR MORE PICS

*the only series missing from this selection was TOUMA's LITTLE TRICKERS mini-figures tho :p

Comments

  1. I thought the Touma little trickers minifig series hasn't come out yet. Were prototypes supposed to be displayed or something?
