was a prototype (vinyl) figure of an unpainted GOOMA! (an early congrats, Sergey!)
"Gooma's are living seeds, who after evolving into characters, explore and claim new territories. They live, die and are resurrected as wanderers. Each time they are reborn, nature paints their skin with a new pattern, reflecting season, weather, moon phase and soil fertility." [blogged]
Designed and made by Sergey of Lunohod-1, Gooma was initially made available as a hand-made 4.5" tall hard-plastic figure (seen below-left via Doc18's flickr-stream) ... and as we await tangible production status of the prototype, CLICKETH to view Gooma's travel album around the world :)
