Imagi Studios' Creative Director; Felix Ip has just posted a trio of new CG-images from the GATCHAMAN animated movie teaser [earlier images / tagged] which reveals a little bit more about the characters (currently still undergoing fine-tuning and modification - so is by no means a final version shown):
(Note: descriptions paraphrased by me) JOE is arrested and being escorted by
ISO soldiers, as the team walks away (peep character sizes - Tiny's looking buff)
Felix mentions the city look was inspired by Hong Kong, while JUN rawks a pair of sexy
leggings and a yo-yo that would make a fab merchandize in time to come, IMHO.
a WIP-version of Gatchaman's PHOENIX! Tearing thru the urban-scrapers of
Utoland as the mission begins! Loving what I see so far and can't wait for MORE!
TRE IMPRESSIONS: I'm loving the subdued lighting (giving it a sophisticated atmos, IMHO), and the electric color-scheme with a predominant blue throughout the seemingly "quiet" scenes, contrasting with the orange hue of the action scenes = *noice*
I also like that Tiny's more buff than chubby, and Mark ain't too shabby in the muscle-department, yeh? Joe sports that lanky cool rebel-stance (even tho tis a backshot LOL). Jun will no doubt be gorgeous-cool (as she should be, I insist! LOL), and would love to see more of Keyop (teenager or child?). Design and style aside, what may make or "break" the impressions, would be the face / facial-design of the characters, IMHO ... as mentiond, looking forward to further developments = *coolio*
