20th century boys

It is now the year 2000. A mysterious entity known only as "Friend" (dude in white cloth head-wrap) appears and seemingly aids in the execution of the prophecy. The boys have all grown up, and as the events they've created decades ago materialize, they begin to formulate a plan to stop the end of the world ... The moral of the story is; don't go scribbling nonsense in those notebooks of yours, yo! (daymned kids!)

I've not read the manga. And it vibes Death Note way too much, but heck, I heart me my destruction of the world, with underdogs waiting in the wings to save the day. The first of the trilogy had just started to screen in Singapore (*yumz*). And I reckon it'll be a matter of time when Medicom Toy releases RAH figures or any related toys, IMHO :) ... Meanwhile, CLICK THRU for more teasers and the original music video featuring Marc Bolan & T-Rex - for which this manga/movie's title is based on!
(Doncha lurve it wehn folks stand in the path of a creature's destruction?)
