Acclaimed Toy-Photographer Brian McCarty drops word of the upcoming art auction @ Phillips de Pury in NYC this weekend - featuring "a unique cross section of work from the art toy world, including pieces from Bob Conge, Carlos Enriquez-Gonzalez, Yoskay Yamamoto, Jermaine Rogers, Bwana Spoons, Shepard Fairey, Paul Cruikshank, KAWS, and James Jarvis."

Brian adds: "...what really excites me about the auction is the growing acceptance of the art-toys as "legitimate" by the established fine art world.
