Trailer + Promo for the animated movie STORM RIDER: CLASH OF EVILS [www] - which includes behind-the-scenes interview with creator Ma Wing Shing (in Cantonese), animators and voice-over actors. In this age of nigh-realistic CG-animation and hyper-stylized design depictions, the anime style of STORM RIDER: CLASH OF EVILS is very "refreshing", especially as it looks like the illustrations in the manhua had come to "life", my memories of past readings, made "real". Kudos to Asia Animation, IMHO.
The animated film opens in Singapore tomorrow (Thursday Oct 9th). The trailers have piqued my interest (low-res as they are) includding my earlier posted ones ... but doubt if I can afford to catch it on the big screen ... perhaps I'll wait for the eventual DVD-release? pity.
