seen@anime festival asia 08: bandai / super imaginative chogokin / s.i.c. (day zero)
The S.I.C. Booth @ Bandai's PLANET MECH Zone @ the Anime Festival Asia 2008 [tagged] saw a truly awesome display of articulated figures - featuring Kamen Riders, Saint Seiyas, and loads more - both production and prototypes of future releases - most notably the S.I.C. Vol.44 Zeronos & Deneb Imagin (shown below), and a new smaller-scaled figure with Kiwami-Damashii Masked Rider Hibiki (yep, I took notes :p) - not to mention the SIC Limited Masked Rider Den-O Rod Form and Masked Rider Den-O Ax Form AFA08-exclusives [blogged].

To be perfectly honest, I've always admired Bandai's S.I.C. (*Super Imaginative Chogokin*) range of figures, heck even desired quite a few (including Tamashi Nation's Dark Knight set :p) but have never ventured beyond cyber-screen-drooling and into parting with cash to sate thy touristo-cravings. But somehow seeing them up-close-and-personal, maaaan, the itch has been bugging me since Day Zero (Friday / Pre-event Press Con day) - especially when the there's no other folks around to jostle for prime photo-taking spot (I only blame my crap-camera for the bad shots :p).
