seen@anime festival asia 08: toysntoys (day zero)
The Toys N Toys had one of the more impressive display arenas @ Anime Festival Asia 2008 [tagged] - and this was just via the sheer span of floor-space and glamor of the all-black gloss display cabinets! LOL
Representing prime Japanese and American toy brands, the TNT shelves are to feature products from Alter / Artstorm / CM's / Diamond Comic / Good Smile Company / Kaiyodo / Kotobukiya / Max Factory / Organic Hobby / Square Enix / Yamato and Medicom Toy [tagged].
On Day Zero (pre-event / Press Conference day) most of the cabinets remained empty, save for a few choice brands (which suit my personal tastes nyuknyuk) ... CLICK THRU for quick snaps I took, while tiptoeing around folks who were scrambling around to unpack the boxes and figures as gingerly as possible. Hey, I may be "slightly" heavy-set, but I am light on me feets, yo! LOL
WEB-INFO: Toyntoys.com is a homegrown company that was setup by a Hobby Collector. In the beginning, sales were conducted through the Internet, and gradually Toyntoys.com starts to import hobby products from Japan wholesalers. Toyntoys.com had a small scale wholesale program to some local Hobby Shops in Singapore in the early stage, and gradually Toyntoys.com’s rate of success has steadily increase from 2004 and they are currently representing 14 brands from USA & Japan.
