I remember when French fashion retailers PRINTEMPS had a store in Singapore, in the mid-80s - a mecca of European fashions unlike others in the island nation then - which were dominated by quasi-Japanese and pseudo-Brit New Wave wear. The clothes and accessories I'd fantasized about owning then but could hardly afford, finally gave way to a warm-grey checkered blazer and a fire-engine red plastic pull-belt in my collection (like I mentioned, "mid-80s"). Ah yes, the memories, not too long ago to forget ... *cough*

Anyways, if you happen to be physically in France, getting this uber-cool black+grey+white+silver sprinkles PRINTEMPS Edition KID ONION may not be as much a hassle as scouring for it online - but with the launch date past (November 8th) then do bear in mind that this 200-pcs limited vinyl onion boy with silver sneakers had an initial SRP of 35€ [via Artoyz]. This edition was also on display at EASY HEY's *A Day In A Whood* exhibition (Nov 6-22 / event-pic by Luffy).


KID ONION is a 12cm / 4.7 inches tall vinyl figure designed by EASY HEY and produced by Artoyz Originals [tagged]. This Printemps Edition is the 5th colorway I have seen produced (excluding the Black-Flocked one by Delkographik Studio). heh.
