KAWS opens a brand new solo exhibit @ Honor Fraser Gallery, LA on February 21st 2009 dubbed: “The Long Way Home” - and Supertouch gets a first-look [all pics via] at what's on the gallery walls - which features: "new paintings, sculptures, a 20″ solid bronze Chum figure and a new series of “Kurfs” and Spongebob package paintings." = I'm liking the Kurfs meself, actually. One of my favs (and am very intrigued about) is this series of KURFS displayed ala blister-card like toys (deduction via online-images - hey, I'm halfway around the world physically from the action, yeh? LOL ... And while I don't know for fact what it represents, but if tis an "answer" to KAWS-fans' requests for toys to be made from his interpretation, than this is quite farnie (at least to me :p)
