100% FREE Exhibition @ STITCH, Tokyo (April 4-19) / DANKE SCHOEN Soft Vinyl Toy Prototype
DANKE SCHOEN is an online store and brand specializing in bears which were designed by TOUMA [tagged]. Initially offered as plush, the duo pair of black (Danke) and white (Schoen) bears are now poised to be manifest in soft vinyl! [Original sculpt shown below-right].
For the coming 100% FREE Exhibition show @ STITCH TOKYO, Daikanyama, Tokyo (April 4th-19th, 2009) - the Owner of DANKE SCHOEN gathered 15 creators who were actively involved in a wide variety of industries in Japan. Artists include Akatsuki chouta / Kouhei Arikawa / AYA / Kanna Inoue / Ayumi Urayama (creator of DANKE SCHOEN) / ekoneko / KAROGARO / SHIN TANAKA / SPOON / You Chihara / TSUTOMU NAGAI / TOUMA / Bikke / HORY'S / SATOSHI YOSHIOKA.
Each were given the subject "DANKE SCHOEN" and the theme being "100% FREE". These original one-off pieces will be made available for sale at the show. The DANKE SCHOEN soft vinyl figure mentioned will be displayed alongside. After the Tokyo show, there are plans to move to Okinawa.
